The short version
This site sets no cookies. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. We collect the minimum we need to run your membership and, if you ask for it, the newsletter.
Who we are
The Brentford Card (brentfordcard.com) is the data controller for the information described here. Contact: hello@brentfordcard.com.
What we collect and why
- Newsletter: your email address, used only to send the Brentford newsletter. Lawful basis: consent. Unsubscribe any time from any email.
- Contact form: your name, email, subject and message, used only to reply to you. Lawful basis: legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
- Card purchase: your name and email, and payment handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Lawful basis: performance of your membership contract.
- Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and sets no cookies and no cross-site identifiers.
Cookies
We do not set cookies for advertising, analytics or tracking. This is deliberate — it is a trust feature, not an oversight.
Who we share it with
Only the processors needed to run the service: Stripe (payments), our email/pass provider (to deliver your pass and newsletter), and Cloudflare (hosting and privacy-first analytics). We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Newsletter data until you unsubscribe; contact enquiries for up to 24 months; membership records for as long as you are a member and then as required by law.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, delete or port your data, and object to or restrict processing. Email hello@brentfordcard.com and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
